Hey all, it's time once again to pass the hat and raise some money to keep the Family Woodworking forum up and running. As you know, our forum is supported completely by the members, and we have no ads or sponsored posts. (We get a lot of offers, but turn them all down.) For the past couple of years, our yearly cost for web hosting and domain registration has been roughly $650 per year. This year, the hosting company informed us that the price for our current plan was going to increase to $1235.88 per year. Thankfully, Darren was able to negotiate with the hosting company and get us on a new plan. (Web hosting companies are like cell phone providers and cable companies. They always have a new customer deal or some type of "new and improved" plan up their sleeves.) Apparently Darren wore the sales guy down pretty hard, since the hosting company has agreed to sell us three years of hosting for $748 (total). After those three years, the price will increase once again, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. (Note to self: Take Darren with me the next time I want to buy a car from a dealership. :))

We currently have $128.66 in our PayPal account. The last time we had a fundraiser was in 2020, and you members generously donated enough money to keep things afloat until now. So, with hat in hand, we once again humbly come to you all asking for donations. Any help you can offer is very appreciated. And if you're not in a financial position to help, that's OK too. Donations can be sent to our PayPal account at donations@familywoodworking.org or by clicking the Donate link at the top of any page on the forum.

Thanks in advance!

Well folks, in addition to the members mentioned above, we've had a good number of anonymous donors chip in and help the cause. As a result, it looks like we're covered for the next three years plus have a bit left over to get us started the next time we need to have a fundraiser. All of your help is very appreciated.

That said, don't let the good news keep you from adding more to the slush fund. Our Donation window is open anytime, 24/7/365. ;)
