This is one of many projects that keep pushing the dry bar project off, but the grand kids come first 🙂.
Purchased these plans years ago and altered to two panels wide

Sigh...All that beautiful wood that both you and Rennie keep showing. And I bet it doesn't cost that much compared to what it would cost here. An advantage to living where all the hardwood resides. Looks great Tom!

I guess I just followed the plans, that would have been a great idea, I guess next on the next one if there is a next one đź‘Ť
It looks like the one pictured on the plans had tapered sides which is why I asked. It’s a cool look, but I’m not sure of the practicality. I think the choice you made makes perfect sense.

Made a similar one, several years ago, from walnut. Gave it to my niece. It's now been used by her, her two sisters, and her brother. Getting kinda beat up, but it's still functional.

Wonderful piece Tom. The grand-kids will love it now and appreciate it more over time. I like the modified corbels with the two panel size. What kind of hinges are you going to use for the top?

Another heirloom piece from you Tom! I love it! Those pieces that involve so many different parts and joints are always daunting to me, but you just went through without a flaw. Kudos to you my friend!!
