Wake Up,, its time to get back at it!!!,, we HAVE enough, next time

I have to log in sometimes. Guess my computer loses its cookies once in a while.

Anyway here's a pic of my daily log-in. I either gotta get a bigger firebox, or smaller wood. :)

Well I'm in awe!! I just got off the phone with my gift sender, Mack Cameron, following up whether usps had been able to get my gift delivered. What a great person to take their personal time to track my phone number down and follow up on this. I'm totally blown away by this act of kindness and by the gift he sent me.

I'll post some pictures tonight of what my wife picked up at the post office today but i wanted to publicly thank Mack for this huge act of caring and kindness.

Mack your #1 in my books. :thumb::thumb:

THANK YOU!!

Randy

is last night yet??????:D:D:D

Jonathan ... prolly get more than one in your fire box. :) . It's a "Little Cod" fishing boat stove, cast in Sackville, New Brunswick. Fits in a 9x12x18" box (assembled).

It is now!! :D:D

OK to my surprise I received a beautiful gift from Mack Cameron. I'm sure my pictures do not do this the justice as seeing it in person does. His workmanship phenomenal.

Attached to the box was a personal note describing the pen. It reads:

This One-Of-A-Kind Pen was turned from Long Leaf Maple Burl on a lathe in my basement workshop. This style of pen is known as Zen. It's plating is long lasting Black Titanium. Considering this pen is wood, it's enemies are extreme heat, extreme cold and water. The only requirement for it;s care is a gentle coat of high quality furniture paste wax once in a while.

Also, I dont have to worry about my wife heisting it, it has my name on it. :thumb::thumb:

Mack - Thank you for the beautiful gift and I truly appreciate the personal followup you gave me.

A very tired mailman dropped off a package on my porch a few minutes ago. The label said it's from someone named Shively.

I got quite the haul, but you're all gonna have to wait until later when I can get my photo tent set up to take some pics. Jon's work deserves better pics than a simple snapshot, but I have the tools and technology to get them. :D

Many, many thanks, Jon. :thumb: :santa:

HEY ROB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tax paid! ;):rolleyes::D:thumb::rofl::rofl::rofl:

See, I knew where the stuff was going, so knew the pictures would be better than the actual product , so letting Vaughn post them!!! It was the first for a couple of things for my students to see happen in the shop as it was built at school as the home shop just isn't ready for an extended project in this weather.

Ed, yep, more than one will fit, the fire box in my Central Boiler is 4'x4'x6' with the door being 3'x3'! It can hold a couple of wheelbarrow loads of wood!! :thumb:

The guy does great work. Link

I'm displaying mine in my office. It is definitly a keeper!!

My wife has already questioned me 3 or 4 times today about how he built it. Is it with wood?? On a lathe?? Where do you get the kits?? Didnt I buy you a lathe?? Noooo....I need to stay strong with the force. I cant afford the darkside....:D:D

Randy, Randy, Randy you are on the DARK SIDE! Come into the light and step into the VORTEX. The flowing curls off the lathe are sweet smelling. The beauty of a piece of wood is revealed as you turn it, untill you have a one of a kind, without plans, work of art to call your own.
