Wanted to mention I'll be in Michigan last week of april

I'm not looking to inconvenience anyone or make anyone commit

Elen was asked about attending a quilting retreat in shipshewana Indiana last week of april
She'd love to go
It's 3 days
She won't fly so I told her as long as I'm healthy I'll drive
I plan on staying at either firekeepers casino or 4 winds casino in either new Buffalo Michigan or south bend indiana
I would like to meet up with some of the boys at least one night or afternoon for lunch or dinner

Just posting early since I found out this past week

I'll update in a few months to see if ant interest

I'll be there for 4 days I'll have plenty of time

I'm willing to drive to meet no one has to come to where I'll be

Fighting no I should say reasoning with firekeepers casino for free or heavily discounted rooms
They gave me a lot of free slot machine play 40 dollars in gasoline at their gas station and 100 dollars in food comps to start
I'm trying to get them to keep wll
That stuff and just get room prices down
I go to casinos 5 times the size of that one and the rooms are less money
Not sure why they are so stubborn
I'm choosing it because it's the closest to where elen will be in shipshewana but there's nothing for me in shipshewana
 
only managed to get 145 dollars off of rate for week. ofcourse once Im there its a negotiation, alot of my gaming buddies just dont get it....if you dont keep asking you dont get the rates.
we are spoiled and even though elen will only be with me one night, we enjoy upgraded rooms whenever we travel. never know when its the last trip, might as well enjoy while we can.

Randi had a good idea but I'll run it here before I make calls
The girls quilt fest ends Saturday may 2nd at noon
Randi suggested we meet with wives included in shipshewana for dinner and hang out but they would go home after dinnet
So for Rennie and tom and possibly Jim or Jon is this doable?

I'm still in battle creek from the 28th till may 2nd and free anytime if that works also
I had little intention on driving that far Saturday not knowing what time I'd need to picking up elen and getting out of shipshewana so I'd stay in shipshewana Saturday and split sunday
Does this work for you guys?
 
So you are thinking of a meet and eat on Saturday May 2, at Shipshewana and it be a late lunch (1 o'clock) or early supper (3-4 o'clock)?

I will check with Lou Ann and if that day is free, we will be there. Only reasons for our absence at this point is kids needing their cattle for a check in, or mom has a problem. Otherwise, the entire group of you people rank right at the top for dragging my butt off of my farm.
