We'll see how long it takes her to notice.

I actually used my cell phone to take a pic of the spoon on a dark object, imported this into Lightburn, traced it, then scaled it to length.

I could then use that to cut-out some cardboard as a template to place the spoon for engraving.

Nice, I've often kind of wondered how much you could stretch the focal length on these cheap little laser without to much distortion. Looks like short curve like this is no problem at all.

I like it! Great idea. :thumb: Probably all sorts of things could be printed on them.

Very probably true, and just as probably I'd be seriously in the deep end as soon as those things were found

When I first got the rotary going and could engrave wine glasses I engraved a couple of wine glasses with a friends name.

We went out to dinner with them. I slipped the glasses to the waiter. Wine was served. It took them a while but they finally noticed their names on the glasses.

"Oh how nice of the restaurant to do this for us!" Me - Restaurant, they did nothing I did them for you.

LOL,

I've done similar with beer glasses for people visiting here at my isolated desert compound. Although I've done those with adhesive stencils and etching paste.

Can't wait to get my rotary working so I can simplify that process.

Lol, Pete, I'm sure they appreciated it, and the guests as well. ;)

I did a couple of others tonight, also worked to clean up the engravings using some tips I've picked up.

The one on the right has a quote my grandmother used to say to us (from a Doris Day song).
