you know you are old

I can hear the high fidelity in my head right now. 🤣 I don't remember seeing the Jackson 5 discs, but do remember them doing the same with The Archies.

I miss the old times when companies could have "Sugar" in a product name and nobody got upset about it.

And other funny stuff we had to abandon to be more socially correct. I'm not saying they weren't wrong but they were hardly devastating to the social order. :D

P.s. Mods; if I am out of line here please delete. I do not mean to offend anyone. I am just from the generation that had seat belts as an optional item, drank from the garden hose, and rode in the back of the pickup truck . . . sometimes in lawn chairs.

Add Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, and the Land of Lakes Indian Maiden. Oh yeah, and the Cleveland Indians.

And Sambo's Restaurant. Unfortunately for Sam Battistone and Newell Bohnett, whose names were combined to name the restaurant, it became associated with something racial. We sometimes look for things that are not there; sometimes they are :)

Wow that brings back more memories of a different time. I was a one man screen printing tee shirt business . I had a customer who wanted a custom print that related to the Frito Bandito. The face is taken directly from a friend of my customer, we vectorized it and redrew the FB image. The result is pictured here, it became a very popular tee shirt
