Woke up at 4:30 to the sound of voices and flashlights outside the bedroom window. Took a peek and saw 6 of the cities finest and a really big dog going through the yard. Peeked out the front and saw about 9 squad cars around the neighborhood. Common sense overtook curiosity (doesn't happen often) so I stayed inside. Never did find out what they were looking for.

Dale,
I wish I had been as smart. Had a similar situation a few years ago. 2:15 I hear a loud thud outside. A moment later we see flashing red and blue lights - so - dumb dumb here walks out the front door to see what's going on. I got a good case of sunburn from all the light that hit me.:doh:
Me: Duhh
Officer: SIR! Is this your vehicle?!
Me: Duhh Ahh No?
Officer: Please step over here.

After a minute or so of questioning, I was allowed to go back inside. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much after that.

I our case it was a drunk that put a stolen truck through the front of the bar - then drove what was left of the truck to my house and ditched it.

So I would say you made a wise decision.

Wes
