Frank, I bought the stone at http://www.colbaugh.net/home.html for $15 a pound. If you call them you have to ask for floor scraps.

Gord, the process is pretty simple. You crush the stone and screen them into three sizes: dust, tiny stones and stones about 3/16. Then mix about 2 square inches of 5 minute epoxy and cover the epoxy with the dust. Then the big stones and finally the middle stones. Mix and apply with a chisel and let dry. Larry sands with a belt sander and then circles on a disc. If there are any air bubbles he fills with dust and thin CA and sands to 400.

I cut with the C1 instead of belt sander
