Gorgeous song

PBS has a 2 hour special they have been running here for their fund drive with these guys. Yes they are good! The one that gets me is the kid that looks all of about 12 or 13 years old. Very poised on stage, and a pretty good voice. Jim.

Chuck,

Thanks so much for sharing that. I really liked it. I have to let LOML hear it too.

I also listened to their rendition of "The Old Man" which was so truthful. It brought back very strong memories of my "old man", who died when I was 23.

I followed the link to the same song by John McDermott. The Celtic Thunder version was really good, but John did it justice.

And, the comments quoted below say it all.

"Chreepo (1 month ago)" "This was filmed shortly after John's father passed away. In the beginning you can see him look over to his left and smile. His sister was in the audience that night, which made the night and the song that much more emotional. One of John's best songs..."

"macrosent (1 month ago)" "Agreed. And I made reference to that in my notes to the right. Unquestionably his BEST performance (live OR studio) of ANY of his songs. Thanks for your comments! -Mac"

Have a listen, and see if it doesn't bring a tear to your eye too.

Thanks again.

Aloha, Tony (Who's missing his father every day)

My Dad is still alive but my Mom is gone & listening to him sing & cry made me tear up as well cause I really miss my Mom. Isn't it amazing how much music can effect us emotionally.
