I love some of this old stuff I get from my BIL. I was able to work on my inside the bowl "sweeping arc" move. It's still not really comfy but it's getting better. Yes, I did rechuck in the flat jaw and get rid of the jaw marks on the foot. Finish is Renneisance wax and a handful of chips for burnishing.
The other one is a dome base out of a cherry glue up and rattle can lacquer. It's the same piece of cherry that caused my hand to fly thru my table saw 4 years ago...the saw won

The bowl is English Walnut and is about 5x3. I have loads of walnut around, but I'm getting tired of the dark stuff. I picked up some White Ash and some Poplar on ebay to kind of brighten things up.
