    Christmas Candle decorations

I made these Christmas candle decorations for my Wife. She saw something like this on HGTV or one of those type of stations. Described them to me. The base is made from scrap plywood that I painted white. The candle holders are made from maple that I turned on the lathe and then painted with gold spray paint. The candles are made from 2" PVC. I put the cheap plastic light sockets into the PVC and then held them in place with hot glue. My wife then used hot glue on the outside to make them look like there was melted wax. and then we spray painted the PVC and melted wax hot glue white. Topped off with flicker bulbs.

They are now sitting outside the house.

You did a real nice job, Mike.

How tall are the candles, 24 inches?

The hot melt glue really makes them, great idea!
