Good neighbors

Is this a one way street or a two way street.

One way is -- the neighbord says - no noise till Noon - and you comply

One way is -- you make noise at 7:00 on the mark and hold to that regardless of the neighbors wish

Two way street is where there is compromise. Start at say - 9:00-10:00

Sounde like you live on a two way street - but your neighbor lives on a ONE way street.

I don't live in a close tight neighborhood - I really don't know the conditions.

Maybe you could invite the guy over for a beer(coffee whatever) and show him some of these responses. Might wake him up.(no pun intended)You gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time, now it's his turn. If he doesn't want to compromise...tough. You haven't lost a friend,good neighbor or otherwise.
Maybe he just didn't want to be bothered by his kids being awake....:dunno:
