I'm gonna be a new grandpa in March! :thumb:

This is the first of many projects for my first grand child.
An old fashioned pine cradle.
It is golden oak oil based stained with four clear coats of special semi gloss urethane.
Not sure where I'm going to put the tag yet.

looks good and the tag could go right at the end there where the bottles go that way the yougun can look up at it every day and see that grandpa made it for her or him...

Thanks, your compliments mean a lot to me.

Larry that's exactly where my wife and daughter said to
put the tag ....so that's where its going! :)

Funny, I was lying in the intensive care unit three weeks ago wondering
if I was going to get this done by Christmas. but by the grace of god
and a little will power there it is!

Merry Christmas folks!

That's fabulous Dave!! Congratulations on becoming a grandfather and on building what's going to become a family heirloom for a first gift.

cheers

John

Hi Dave,
Very nice looking cradel. I like that style. I did one a cpl years ago for a friend. It had the vertical railing. a mortising nightmare.
You did a good job. Now you just need to learn to change dipers...:thumb:
