What is your drop mechanism?
Personally, I dislike mechanical as they always sag. Usually sooner than later. I prefer the simplicity of old fashioned sliding wood supports.
just add some gtr sawn white oak or mabey some cherry and you got a winner..the side stretcher tenons,, are they threw tenons or fake for screw hiding? looks great
Those are through tenons all around. The only metal in the whole table would be the hinges. I would be using sliding wooden supports, but as this was preliminary, i didn't include them. You're right, cherry, or white oak and this would be a nice table. The only thing holding it up, is that he is waiting on permission from the wife...
I just noticed you're in Falcon Heights. I lived there when I first moved to the Cities from Wisconsin. Right across from the Fairgrounds and near that odd drainage pond inside the chain link fence.
