I went to Cabin Fever in York, Pa today. It is mostly a metalworking show for models. However the last few years a wood turning group has a pretty good set up. So I found a saw for Toni, and a couple of lathes I thought some of you might enjoy...

Talk about getting ones attention and then dropping the BALL!!!:D:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well I am downloading Graphics Workshop as we type and I sent them to Chuck., so they will show up here sooner or later. I had assumed that with all the phortto software on this new computer there would be file conversion utilities. But it seems the only way to re-size is to Email using their default Email program.

There now that's better.
That"s some cool stuff :thumb:
Thanks for the pics.
The old wooden one in the 4th pic is cool. But I would rather have the Jet mini behind it.:rofl:

They had several lathes the size of the Jet and were turning pens, bowls, and small flower vases almost constantly. Had some very nice work on static display also..
Southern Pa Woodturners or something like that was the name of the group..

That chuck on the lathe in the second picture just doesn't look right.
'bout like putting telescope sights on a flintlock rifle.
Ye jes don't do it. ;)
Musta been a neat experience at that show. I'd like to see something like that one day.
