I gotta try that. How long did you let the urethane cure before buffing it?

SAC takes about 10 to 12 hours to cure on most woods. This one sat from one evening to the next and was ready for buffing.

Don't expect SAC to give you a high gloss on it's own. It acts more like an oil based finish than a urethane one. Sure buffs well though.

It can also darken some woods but no more so than wetting them with water or mineral spirits.

Jeez, I dunno Neal, if I was you I would give up on those finial thingys, it just ain't workin' for ya..... I won't even say that maybe one day I will do one of those, cause it ain't gunna happen...outstanding sir!!!
