I Shrank The bench

Those are incredible, Reg.
You're workbench is exactly what I wanted to build myself. After I priced out the timber, reality kicked in and and I settled for something for considerably less. And it was a good thing. My woodworking skills aren't quite up to making a piece as beautiful as what you have produced.

Can you share your procedure for flattening the bench tops?

Once again, beautiful work.
Thanks Guys. It was a fun project. Vicky is pleased my work bench is safe and still in the shop.
Flating isn't real difficult according to what machines you have. You can glue it up in sections makeing sure one side is flat. If you want you can even pin them together with dowwels clamped together and then glue. once its glued I used a belt sander and cabinet scrappers. If I had what I wanted I'de glut it and run it through a wide belt sander
If you get real creative you can make the same bench out of 4/4 wood a little at a time and befor you know you have a bench and won't miss the cash
