two thirds of a new tool

I live roughly in between Syracuse and Utica / New Hartford. Ned lives maybe a third of the way to Syracuse from me. Small world that it is, we each were meandering out in the general direction of the Harbor Freight store in each city this past Saturday. Being each armed with a cell phone, we ended up in contact during our respective trips which serendipitously were happening at about the same time.

Turns out the Syracuse store (that Ned was at) didn't have an MT2 chuck in stock (that he was looking for). After lamenting this fact to me, I eventually ended up at the New Hartford store. They did have a chuck so I bought it for him. Upon arriving home, we realized that the chuck was missing the actual chuck part from the box! The box had the chuck key, the MT2 / MT33 post but no chuck!

Anyhow, I gave him the box and receipt since he said he was headed out that way today. Wonder if he had any success with an exchange.

help now days sometimes dont pay enought attention.

Unfortunately I forgot the box at the house, but that's ok. I'm still canvassing that neighborhood right now.
