Very nice work, Chas. :clap: I like all three, and the speckled figure in the ash bowl really caught my attention.
 
Chas, whenever I look at your work I always ask myself which one would I buy if I were in looking to buy. It becomes a very difficult task. They are all so great. You really manage to bring out the best from the piece of wood. This time though that first one is tremendous. Shape, color especially the way the spalting came out and the edge so well defined.

Thanks for the comments all, trying to make the most of local wood.

Biggest task is trying to school myself to be a bit more selective on which pieces get lathe time, having said that, just come in from the shed having spent an hour shaping some spalted that was a lost cause. :doh:
