In building my woodturning accessories cabinet this past weekend I got to spend some time with my $99 Grizzly Baby Table Saw.

I put a nice 8 1/2" freud thin kerf fine finish blade on it (it even has a nice "riving knife" behind the blade) and did all my cuts.

In the future I plan on replacing the table top with a good sized piece of Phenolic, add slots for a mitre and use it more often.

It is light, has great dust control, and a soft start motor.

While discontinued, I'm glad it is part of my tool set.

Looks very functional. What size motor? How tall? Been looking at the little ones at HF with only a 4 inch blade, but this looks like it has a nice size table. Can't beat the price.:thumb:

1/2 HP at 3 Amps Derrill. It stands 24 1/4" L X 15 3/4" W X 13 1/2" H.

I bought it a year or so ago and I think Grizzly discontinued it shortly after. The first shipment was broken into many parts, but they took care of the problem with a new shipment a day or two later.

It is a very nice saw!

Thanks for your comment.
