This is your second piece in a row that I'm getting to like the more I study it. Gorgeous wood, of course. The size and transition of the collar threw me off at first, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It steps outside of some of the accepted 'norms' that some guys follow, but it looks good. Compared to the classical lines of a lot of turned forms, this one has a more modern look. Good stuff.
Great form Mark . You did a great job of showing off the color of the wood. I wouldn't have thought cocobolo would match up with ambrosia and it's my pleasure to say "wadda I know"
Great piece of wood and the color of the collar looks just right to me. The collar is a bit bigger than I would expect to see, but not enough to matter. This is some nice work, Mr. Pruitt!
