Maple hollow form with ebonized Cherry lid and unknown hardwood dowel for the finial. It is 6 ½” high to top of finial, 3” in diameter and 1/8” thick. Sanded to 320 grit and has 5 coats of Minwax Wipe-On Gloss Poly.

More fine work there, Steve. Man, you sure get your hands on a lot of maple. That stuff must grow on trees around there or something.

Steve...I like this alot. However.. I like it without the finial. I know you went to all the work to add that but to me I like it just by itself.....it's a keeper either way. Great job!

BTW...this is an opinion....not a critique.
