6 1/2" wide x 3" tall. Finish is 2 coats of Seal-a-Cell followed by 5 coats of Arm-r-Seal. Sanded between coats with 400 dipped in water. Seems to worked pretty well. Not flawless, but came out pretty nice for this piece. I don't are much for the shape myself. The intent was something a bit different, but it ended up like this. So it is what it is. Might sell it for something less than the normal. We'll see.

Lookin' good. I'm a fan of turning/working OO.
You do know that it will turn dark brown with time, don't you?
BTW, that dip in water bit was referring to the sandpaper wasn't it, not the bowl?

Very nice bowl..--- don't lower you pricing scheme.

Paul

Agree with Paul... nothing wrong with the shape and the finish is quite good... I have a little bowl similar in shape that was supposed to be a sort of winged bowl, but I had a mishap that required a "re-design"... anyway, the bowl gets lots of attention, haven't sold yet, but every show at least 5 or 6 people will pick it up and look at it.

Doug, I like the shape of your bowl. It's unique for sure and like others have said, I'm sure it will be an attention getter! :thumb:
