Trouble with my Dupli-Carver T110

I stumbled across your forum today tooking for advice and tips for my T110 duplicarver. I plan to make custome pistol grips from polymer sculpting clay but I am having trouble getting the hang of this machine.

I find if I cut on too much of an angle with my cutter bit, when I rotate by work 90 deg. I have lost part of the material from cutting on the previous plane.

Any Duplicarver usrs around? I also read somewher to just use round-nose router bits because they do not grab and kick.

welcome rob, i dont know anything about your problem, but we do have a vast majority of wood workers here.. so stay awhile and yu should be able to get some help on your problem.

In addition to the PM information I sent you, I have found that three and four winged bits do a better job with less grabbing and kicking. MCLS is the place to shop for these.

Don't blame you. My 200 has been for sale and a guy is coming any minute to buy it, cash in hand.
I have a 110 in the garage also but plan (hope) to use for small items.
