I have a chance to buy 10 pcs of 1x8x10 hemlock for $80.00.
Its been air drying for 5 or 6 years. It appears to be fairly clear but its hard to tell since its rough sawn.
Question is, although I've heard of hemlock I've never heard of what type of projects its good for. Any ideas?
I mainly build early American and shaker style furniture and use mostly pine, maple and some cherry.
