Who's been busy making gifts?

Jeff got me inspired to start some cutting boards this weekend.

I hope to be in and working on Christmas presents soon in my new shop, but no presents built yet.

made for christmas: 4 hard maple cutting boards, 1 hard maple and cherry cutting board, 2 walnut and hard maple cutting boards, 4 cheese boards of various leftovers, and 10 wine bottle holders of various leftovers. thankfully enough, they are all sanded and finished. now i have to get going on the items my sister wants for a craft show, right after i finish this jewelry box for the wife....

(and to think that some thought i was lounging about after finishing the grandfather clock... )

slow down?! i can't slow down. my sister and i have an idea going, and i'm gathering up the energy for a real production run....

Oddly enough I do not make any wood gifts for Christmas or other significant dates.

I have to make a jewels box for my goddaughter but that's due next summer.

I hope to start some soon...I need to try some ornaments...and yes a few cutting boards will be gifted as well.
