Saw this on CL tonight.
The jointer I have is on my Shopsmith it works well but I need a longer bed because of the length of boards I joint.
Think that if I got this for $250 it would be a good deal??

Rigid 6 - 1/8"Jointer JP0600 - $300 (Portsmouth)

I've seen good comments about that jointer. I think $250 to $300 would be a good deal, assuming everything works as it should. (And chances are, everything does work.)

I refinanced my house a month or so ago. Got a rate of 4.65% since I didn't take cash out.
Surprisingly, I got a check today from the old mortgage co for overpaid escrow :thumb: Certainly not a ton of cash but enough to pick up a new tool and buy the wife some new snow tires.
Hopefully this guys will respond to my request to go see it. So many ding dongs on CL post stuff and never respond to questions.

I have had that Jointer for several years, and no complaints.

I put mine on a mobile base, in my shop thats a necessity.
The dust collection is pretty good, as well. (4in hose connected to a shop built separator attached to a 1.5hp DC).

For $300 I would go for it.:thumb:
