frame clamps

I picked up the plan from an old Deltagram (November 1962 to be exact). I used 3/8" BB ply instead of the 1-1/8" hardwood noted. That allows me enough room above the notched blocks to shoot a pin if I need to. I haven't seen the need to make the arms thicker, though if a significant amount of pressure is needed, it would be advisable.

I'll post the drawing and text - hopefully it's clear enough.

Tod, that is a great looking clamp and if I was in business, the $75 per clamp might be doable. Also filling the holes/voids that you need to fill is difficult enough without intentionally adding additional holes on the edge - at least for me!
