If you don't abuse them they will last!! I have a set of Yamaha NS1000 monitors that are 32 years old this month. Still sound as good as the day they were new. Wish I could say the same thing about the speakers in the van..... Jim.
fill us in on the roll on veneer john,,, never heard of that in the quality you show us.. got a source you can share? and the methode you used to apply it you certain didnt just roll it on like yu mentioned

How old you reckon those speakers were? What was the motive behind the restoration. Was this a client based project or family or just something you do.?

Could you show us a picture of the veneer in its raw state and its backing, i aint seen this stuff before. Who would be the supplier here in Canada. This type of veneer opens up options for guys without a bag and vacuum pump for flatwork i guess, how does one use it on curved surfaces? Can it be bent with say steam
