exactly, I dont think I ever softened the rollers, just cleaned all the stuck on debris, it builds up and takes away their ability to grasp the wood and pull it through. Ive taken the top off and the dust port off and wiped the top of the rollers as well as from beneath, I usually just wipe them at different times ensuring I get most of their surfaces clean.

Well, I turned the blades around, I had doner it a year ago so they weren't factory sharp but they were better then the other side. I fixed the problem. I'll stop by the Dewalt service center this week while I'm out and pick up another set.
