Really like the curved inlay look. You probably already thought of it, but an inlay around the outline of your leg vise (show side) would look nice.
Did Garrett also show you how you can add decorative edging such as cockbeads and side beads using the scratch stock? I really like the look of such treatment.
What are you using for blade material?
The leg vice will not get any extra embelishment until I can do this much better, I would not want to look at a poorly done job everyday
Yep, he showed us the various ways the scratch stock can be used, it certainly gives a different feel or texture than on cut with a router.
