By now are maternal family knows what we got for Christmas. But now is the time to let our other family know. These are the ones we probably talk to and ask about, when it comes to the stuff we all feel is real important. It was not that shirt or tie or even a new coat that we will be useing and enjoying, only the way a woodworker can.
When I was asked for suggestions for Christmas I just would say..... A gift card for Woodcraft, Rocklers or HD. Allredy having some thing in my mind. So my gift after the card was turned into Carter Accuright Rachet-Rod for my band saw and the Carter Spring for blade tention. OK I was very thrilled just having all of my family over for dinner and enjoyed giving them many of the gifts that I made for them. But when it was all said and done I really like woodworking stuff.:D:D:D:thumb::rofl::rofl:

Wood related, The Bride gave me the Sorby 5 piece beading tool set with HSS scrapers in 1/8”, 3/16”, ¼”, 5/16” and 3/8”. She also gave me a 6” X 6” X 3” block of Marblewood (Zygia racemosa) and a 2” X 2” X 12” stick of Pink Ivory (Berchemia zeyheri).

Socks, underware, some ammo, the usuall stuff that I need and like to get. I did blow $13k on a new catamaran last week, so I'm calling that my x-mas gift to myself.:thumb:

Loml got me a new router lift. I posted it in the new tools section under "christmas came early" since she let me open it on christmas eve.:D

A slow Woodcraft grinder with a diamond wheel.
A car battery charger and all the 'stuff' to build a wood vaporizer.
and...a one week class with Mike Stafford at JCCFS next June.

I'll put my bandit's mask away now.
