Happy New Year, all. Looks like Bernie got a head start. Retired from have-to stuff to a world full of want-to stuff! How cool is that?! :thumb:
 
Thanks Carol. Yep I don't wear my watch any more or need a calendar.

I figured the wife always tells me where I have to be (so no calendar) and when I had to be there (so no watch).:rofl:
 
Congratulations Bernie... I retired in 2005 when I work up on the 25th of August and told my wife,"today I have 40 years in the traffic and transportation business"... then it hit me what I said and I started retirement steps immediately.

Enjoy what free time you will have... retirement is actually quite busy.
 
Thanks again all. I don't think it has sank in yet but it will probably hit home tomorrow when I should be getting up for work. My 100 yr old grandmother told me today, "Don't forget to stop and smell the roses once in awhile."
