If I was going to use drywall stilts, I'd rather use the proper ones to reduce any risk of falling or hurting myself.

If you google drywall stilts you'll see some pretty funky strap on aluminum gizmos. But if you'll dig farther you'll find that in certain provinces or states, the use of them is illegal -- deemed unsafe by the gov't.

Reminds me of the stilts my dad made for a halloween costume one year. As I recall, "never again" were the last words uttered with regards to his 2x4 stilts. But then, he had a skeleton's head attached to shoulder pads making him rather top heavy. Still think seeing a 10' tall skeleton walking in the parade at night was worth it though.
