Have made many finger joint boxes in the past, but never one with a sliding lid. Not that it is so dificult as long as yo remember to count # of cuts in the rear of the sides and then cut a couple less in the front of the sides so as to leave room for the top. Also it is much better done on a router table for cutting the 1/8th x 1/8th grooves & rabits. TS works but is a lot more work,as my blade is a thin kurf and requiers 2 passes to get the 1/8th " grooves. Finished with BLO and Amber Shelac and a couple coats of Deft spray & johnsons Past wax.
