Another beauty, Les.

I used imbuia in a lap slide guitar I made years ago. I loved the way it smelled when being cut. Sort of a spicy, clove/cinnamon aroma.

Nice looking pen Les!
I have a question about your use of Minwax polyurethane.
I'm assuming that you are applying this with a rag while still on the lathe?
How long does each coat take to dry? Do you sand between coats?
Do you feel that this gives as tough of coating as a CA finish?
I've never done the CA finish myself. I've always used "Shellawax" friction polish but am not real happy with it, but since I paid about $30.00 for a jar of it I felt I needed to use it up. I have always liked the finish on your pens and am ready to try something new.

Thanks,
Tom
