I made this mini adirondack chair for a lady I work with. She has a 4 year old daughter. It's a house warming present for her. I've already got two more orders from the wife for our 2 nephews.

I want to think Don Baer for posting Allen Levine's plans for his child adirondack chair. Thanks also to Allen for making them available to everyone.

someone gonna be pretty ticked off you put that on the hood of their car:D

I think I'll get over it Allen.:D

Since it was such a nice day here I had the planer set up outside. I had the boards leaned against the house and I bumped one and it fell and put a nice tennis ball size dent in the left front quarter panel.:(

Looks good John, what wood did you use?

Ken the wood is white pine that I had milled. It's the first project from wood that I followed from tree to finished project. I think it's pretty neat.

Ive made pine and poplar chairs, and always prime them first, then use 3 coats of a good quality outdoor paint with sunblock built in.
Usually holds up, but IM sure some uv protectant in some marine varnish will hold up well and bring out the natural beautly of the wood.
just wanted to mention it.
