Found this while baling hay. This is in the bend of the creek. All the spring rains have undermined the bend. Of course all the trees must come out and they all are walnut. Wonder who will be going down in the creek?

Well Steve, if you had a good team of horses, you could hook to it and see if you could shake it/move it to the bank. If not, cut from the top and pull up lengths the team can move until the whole tree is back on shore. We just had a storm last night with straight line winds of over 70 mph . Hearing of all kinds of damage already.

Larry, did you just use turning, in a sentence?

Not sure what will happen to it. Has to come out, for sure. One guy already has jumped all over the root ball. He will get most of it, I'm sure. Rest will go in the stove.

Jonathan, once the loader is put back on the New Holland, I can lift it out. Pulled the loader to bale, no since it bouncing around.

Got all of them dropped and most cleaned up. Wasn't too bad. We all took turns in the creek.

Boxelder (?) that had to go

Here is what the turner took, he got several nice crotches, the elder and the stumps.

It moved from dangerous to down right stupid at one time. But they had to come out.

Shame this had to be done, but one or two more hard rains and they would have all been trashed.
