Do we have any Australian members or visitors here?
I would like to hear from any.
My son and his family will be temporarily moving to 'down under' for a year. They leave in August. Yesterday I subscribed to Skype for Australia. (first month free, after that $1.00 a month and 1 1/2 cents a minute) It would be fun to video chat with some woodworkers/turners there and maybe visit in person if we get to go there in December.
Let me know here or pm or e-mail.

Sign on to the Austrailian WWing Forum... http://www.woodworkforums.com/f151/ they have a bunch of really neat guys.

I finally got logged on this a.m.
Something didn't like my original password.
That is sure an extensive site, I could get wrapped up in it all day.
They have a couple forums for discussions and word usage we would not permit here. Sort of non-family friendly refuges.
And another I haven't visited yet called a mans shed. :dunno:

Frank take a look at this site. Its an Aussie thing but i think it has merits all over the world given the advent of womans liberation.

If you go for a visit you might want to pop in on a couple where ever you go.

There are many that are woodworking based.:thumb:

What a great tradition. However, I'm not sure if the idea would reduce or increase the divorce rate in the U.S. I'm sending the link to my son.
