A couple of days ago I received a parcel from Canada, the sender was Mr. Pasquinel Da Trapper alias Rob Keeble.

What was my surprise when I opened it and found this fantastic mallet, that I put to use inmediately and that performs wonderfully.

Its long handle allows for different grips and different strength blows. And the leather head doesn't leave any marks on the handles of my gouges.

Thank you very much Rob, I will cherish it forever.:thumb:

Well Toni I am glad you happy with it. That handle i now know if definitely Staghorn Sumac.:D Could not think of a better person to have a carvers mallet.

Oh and for those that entered the quiz i had a while back you can now see the answer (of course Larry spotted that.:thumb:) :D

All the credit for this must go to James Thompson who inspired me with his post on this site.

So this is a user Toni just like old El Torro. :thumb: Ya gotta show us this in use.;)

Thanks Guys for the comments.

Nice Job Rob and congrats to Toni..

I think we now know where John Wayne's boots went. For the leather in this mallet.

No wonder Rob had to become a trapper..(I think he is a trapper?)
