Picking up Kermit Droppings.....

You know, them curlies of steel that get everywhere, stick to you clothes, get stuck in your shoe soles etc.....

I know you can sweep them up, but some times it is just easier and faster to do this..........

Get a strong magnet, and put it inside a thick plastic bag, then close the bag, and hold one to the bag, and dip the magnet into the mess of the chips on the floor etc.........

You get this.........

Then, pull the magnet out of the bag, the magnet stays clean........

and the Kermit droppings go in the bin.

Simple and effective, not to mention cheap!:rofl:

Neat trick - now if I could just remember it when I need it!:rolleyes:
I also use a mat like this one pictured to keep the chips out of my shoes - especially since I'm the one that needs to clean them up!:eek: (The chips fall through the holes - I have yet to track one upstairs.)
