Screw Extractor Purchase

Folks:

I was trying to remove an over the fridge cabinet today and was having trouble.

The screws into the face frame of the adjoining panels stripped as I was trying to get them out. I know - my fault for using a drill driver. . . .

Anyway - I ran to the Orange Borg and bought the Alden Pro Grabit set.

It has 3 sizes of extractors.

You ream out the screw with 1 side of the extractor and then flip the extractor and it grabs the newly reamed hole. 10 minutes and all 6 stubborn screws were gone.

Well worth the $20.00 I paid for the set of 3 - priceless actually . . . .

Cheers

Jim

Always did wonder if those things worked... Thanks for the tip!:thumb:

You never know when you might need something like that.

My only problem is if I got them, would I be able to find them when I need them!

Me too, good to know they will work, as for knowing where they are stored is another subject. As BORG is only 1 mile down the road, I'll keep it in mind and dance down there next time I need a set. That way I know where to find them. :thumb:
