Why Face Shields Are Good

Rob. best I can tell it hit the clear part, but it may have been just above it on the filter grille. You're right about the framed shields offering better protection, but before I got the Trend I had one from AO Safety that's about like the one you showed from Harbor Freight, and it stopped a few solid hits to the lens with no damage to me or the shield. So yes, I'd still recommend the Lee Valley framed one, but the Harbor Freight one is still much, much better than none at all.

BTW, today I finally found the missing piece. It was under the cabinet behind where I was standing.
