Well, I made this several years ago when I thought I'd get into fly tying. Franks interest in Fly fishing prompted me to post it.
I found the basic design some where on the interwebs, I think a guy in Japan actually designed it. I just took his ideas and made it up.
As you can see it's pretty plain and ugly box. Box joints and some edging to protect against chips.
When you open it up you can see that there are several compartments and the top stays open at an angle due to a little lid holder doo dad.
There's a fold out shelf that exposes an area to hold 'stuff' and another area for papers/books/patters, etc...
The little work table folds out so you can put the fly tying vise on it.
And plenty of room for a bunch of supplies and tools. Works pretty well to just put on a picnic table, or in the camper.
Now if I only knew how to tie flies...
