Building a raised flower bed

Last week I showed you how we errected the new fence, and we continued that project with a new raised flower bed on the inside of the fence

This is how the inside of the fence used to look like

Preparing the base

These are the railway sleepers that will be used as the retaining wall

The railway sleepers will be set into these large steel H profile which are set into concrete

Here you can see how it all fits together, I also made a cut-out for the recessed lighting

And you always need a lot of tools to do it

Here has the flowerbed been backfilled with earth and completed with new plants

Yes its a nice toy, the kids also like to play with it, and they are much better at it then me, there joystick control is much more accurate then me, it must be their hours and hours play of Halo :rofl::rofl:

No the excavator is not mine, just rented it for the weekend, although i'm serious thinking of buying one, as I have lost more to do
