Some very easy repairs to old furniture calls for only a light coat of wax. Scratches disappear. Using a filler wax will take out deeper scratches. Then all some need is a little color marker.
Good advice Dave. I am a proponent of waxing (furniture) as part of a finish. I am only slowly getting pieces for my home that could benefit from some TLC and a good wax job.
