sewing thread cutter ???

I was at my sons house last night and his mother in law was there. She was looking at some of the pens that I made for him and suggested that I make sewing thread cutters.
She went on to say that she belongs to a quilting guild and every month they have meetings where over 100 people attend and said that if I could make turned handles for them I would sell quite a few.
I'm not sure what they are and if the cutter part is available anywhere. Any ideas or thoughts. :dunno::dunno:

My wife just said that it looked like a metal stick with a sharpened fork at the end.:huh:

bob, i had dale johnson make some for me and they work well and your wife is right the ladies love them..more handle than the little plastic one they have orignally.. as for the parts.. drop dale johnson a line and he can help you out..

one thing i did hear though is to have at least one flat on them so they dont roll of there work tables
