Got these pics from my sister. This is the downstream face of the Buffalo Bill Dam on the Shoshoni River at Cody, Wyoming, and those dots are bighorn sheep, walking across the face. :eek: They're licking the surface - salt, maybe?

You're right about the tenaciousness (is that a real word?)... this has been around before and according to Snopes, this is not Buffalo Bill Dam... nor are they Big Horn... they are Alpine Ibex and the dam is the Diga Del Cingino in northern Italy..... either way though it's definitely an amazing sight.
 
Really incredible, now I understand how gipsies here used to go from town to town with a goat suposedly trained to climb a ladder and stay on a piece of wood of 2x2x2 inches, while they were playing the trumpet.

It was their natural way of climbing!
