This photo journey started with two stories and turned into three.

I heat my shop with a wood burning stove.

The stove heats my shop but is a pain in the back it get going.
I would rather just flip a switch.

I hate to burn good wood and as I was going through my kindling bucket and found a block of walnut..... for the record I have so much black walnut that it is in the way. but I could not waste it.

Jammed and turning the tenon off and "OH" no no no.

a fix and then gave the mess to my wife (one of many) for her craft stash room.

sad day but this happens to me many times.

One for each day of the week.

Of course I intended to say many bottomless bowls and not many wives.

One wife is more than enough for an old man like me.
 
It looks like that little piece of walnut really wanted to go back to the burn pile. Your fix (maple, I'm guessing) put an end to that, huh?
