I am in a long stretch of home improvement projects. That means no real woodworking projects. Sometimes the urge becomes too much and I manage to incorporate a "need" to use a hand tool or two.
I am replacing the cover to the crawlspace access and instead of taking a couple minutes to rabbet the edges on my tablesaw, I spent less than an hour doing it by hand. Slower, but much more satisfying. Besides I was needing to blow off some stress and it did the ticket. "Don't worry, be happy. Make some curlies!"
